Rotation Spot: THJ or Broekhoff?
#1
The rotation is stabilizing.

With Rick's comment that Seth "won't lose his starting job" due to a minor, one game injury, our starters appear to be:

Luka
Seth
DFS
DP/Maxi (platoon)
KP

Some of the second unit seems to be set:

Brunson
Wright
DP/Maxi (platoon)

J.Jacks seems to have the 10th spot locked down and JJB and Bobi are the spot duty saviors...

But I think there is one rotation spot that could still be tweaked.

Who should be the 9th man in the rotation: THJ or Broekhoff?

The Accountant, Jackson, and Lee have the nicest personalities, they are the odd men out until trades / injuries. Even Boban is way too nice.

Brunson and Curry are low key dirty, so they will have a lock as rotation players unless hurt.

Powell is Carlisles best friend.

All others are just a bit ahead skillwise.

Most random player is THjr which is why he will be traded or succeeds as a starter against all odds.

1.) Justin Jackson
2.) THJ
3.) Courtney Lee
4.) Bro

That's my personal power rankings for the scraps of the wing minutes

Of the 2 choices, I'd prefer Bro to get those minutes. He's a really good shooter and knows his role. He's only a spot up 3 specialist. He won't mess with the flow of the offense.

Based on the current evidence, there are 4 locked in players in the regular rotation from the bench. THJ, Kleber/Powell, Brunson and Wright. Invalid poll since the question is flawed.

THJ needs to get run until traded.  This is unavoidable.  I just want him in the best position to add the most value.  Benching him is probably worst case scenario for our chances of going far in the playoffs.

Yeah, I read that twice, too.

Without a THJ trade, (or resurgence), we aren't adding any weapons to our arsenal the next 2 seasons.

THJ has shown in his brief Mavs career that he plays better when playing with our best players. I think he should start and play most of his minutes with the starters.

You can start him, have him play most of his minutes with that group, and still limit him to 20 mpg. That's exactly what I think we should do.

I think Broe should get regular rotation time. I'm addition to being a great 3pt shooter, he's also a decent rebounder and gives good effort on defense.

I was being silly with this thread because of the Seth vs THJ thread, but I really would like to see Broekoff play some
