Brunson just not offensively talented enough to carry a team in the playoffs. And that's not a knock. Just reality.

That’s a big ask. But friendlier whistles would have subtracted 3 or 4 misses from his ledger and added 6 or 8 more FTs.

JB is 9-23 which isn't terrible.  He took shots the team needed him to take imo.  I expect him to be better next game.

That too.  JB's missed technical.  Dinwiddie gagging after the first quarter, particularly at the free throw line.  I don't think Kidd's done a good job either.

Not really disagreeing with your points but the offensive game plan does the team no favors.  Everything is Jalen and Spencer taking their man off the dribble for a pull up jumper or dive to the cup.

That takes us back to Brunson being more of a SG than a PG. There was a possession he took a bad shot on the left side, when DFS had Whiteside sagging off him. Him and Dinwiddie are more scorers than PGs. We are simply arguing something that is not there talent-wise with this team. Utah is not even playing that great. Unfortunately we´ll just proceed with the Dirk 2.0 plan as Luka will try to carry the front office all by himself.

We need two young PF/Cs with legit size athletism to rebound and defend. And we need a 2nd star. Nothing else should matter, but how we accomplish that in the next 24 months.

Yeah he needs to be a lot more involved offensively. He´s the 3rd playmaker. Get him some straight line drives against their bigs and he´ll make the correct reads.

He had two in the first half, though on the first kick out I wish he would have tried to murder the rim instead.  He's been kind of invisible in the second half.
