When a guy who's shooting 38% from the field on the year goes 10/14 and hits a dagger 3 that's huge for your team and certainly Dirkie worthy. This one might be unanimous for Dinwiddie if the poll is shut down soon enough

I don't think the Mavs have had this dynamic of a guard off the bench since Jason Terry.

LOVED what Green brought to the game tonight. But yeah, can’t vote against Widde after that performance. Wow.

But in 4 games with the Mavs he is shooting 63.8% from the field. His shot selection has been much more restrained and purposeful in DAL which isn't surprising.

I honestly will be surprised if he doesn't shoot 45+% from the field in this new role.

Dinwiddie is smart guy and not a jerk, see Rondo as an example.

Watching the Lakers Pelicans and the ESPN talking heads were recapping the Mavs win over the Warriors and the lady (Forgive me I have no idea who she is) said "Luka straight up took over in the 4th and led the Mavs to a win!"

This is why ESPN is garbage. They don't even watch the games.

What did I tell you guys about that trade? That trade got my attention after being sick of Cuban's moves. I guarantee Cuban had to be talked into that move. I told you guys those two would be fine. No one looks good for Washington.
We didn't make the cut but thanks for all the support!

I wanted to vote for Dinwiddie, clicked on Luka, it was between the two. Cant it be changed to Dinwiddie? This player is a great addition for the team. His skillset is way better than KP's, and it's not even close.

I think it says more about how awful KP truly was. They basically sacrificed half the season to make him look good and nobody was buying it. He still didn´t do much for the team either. The guy missed so many wide open threes it was embarrasing. Seems the numbers are up for the whole team, since he´s been gone.

3pt percentages in February:

Doncic 41.2%
Bullock 45.2%
Brunson 45.9%
DFS 41.5%
Dinwiddie 44.4%
Bertans 41.9%
Burke 50%
Powell 50.0% Tongue

Kleber 31.4% Undecided  shame shame
Ntilikina 26.7% Cry  still 23/24 (96%) from the FT line for the season. Crazy.
Green 25% Confused

THIS.

People were acting like KP was helping with spacing, I do not think he was anymore. Teams left him open to collapse on Luka. And he shot 22.1% (!!!!) on OPEN threes. And 33.0% on WIDE OPEN threes. How bad this is, is really hard to overstate.

DB has immediately come in and improved the spacing over KP instantaneously.

And on top of that? SD has been shooting SIGNIFICANTLY better than KP from three this season (36.1% on WIDE OPEN, 33.9% on OPEN).

The Mavs got TWO guys who are not only available to play, but are shooting WAY better than KP. Such a win.
