In 5 games there is no significant improvement on D when Luka is playing (+0.5)....there is a +24.2 improvement when he is sitting though. Luka's D is not what you are imagining it to be. As I have said elsewhere, he is moving his feet pretty decent in one-on-one situations, but D is WAY MORE than one-on-one situations. It is a constant five-on-five dance that requires constant effort that is NOT being given by Luka.
Those stats are also related to the entire team and not only Luka, and also on the offense, so that can't be used in this context. Just looking at games (i'm not a fan of stats as every stat has holes), he is a lot improved defender. Moves a lot better and doesn't take plays off.
