Maxi’s performance stole the show. But let me add to the Brunson praise: 0 turnovers. That’s special.

In my opinion, Maxi Kleber is the only valid choice. He and Brunson had similar effects on the game offensively, but Kleber changed the game on both ends of the court.

Having said that, I really like what I am seeing from Brunson. If you remember this time last year, we were going into the season hoping he could become a reliable three-point shooter. His catch and shoot game from three took off last season, representing an insanely positive change. For the life of me, I cannot remember him having a pull up game from three point range ever before last night. I might be misremembering, but I feel like that is a new trick for him, and it just appeared overnight. If so, kudos to him and whoever he is choosing to work with during these off seasons. They are getting things done.

Who knew Maxi was the second coming of Rafe Lafrenz? Cool

Maxi! It's hard to overlook the tremendous game that Brunson had, but as KL said, Kleber impacted the game on both ends of the court.

I sure hope that this means that pre-covid Maxi is back!
