Honestly, it feels like Dragic is about to be a maverick at the minimum. That's a win - he's perfect for a 4th guard spot. Playoff experience, leadership...it will be everything that Redick addition was supposed to be last year and then some.
If they can open that roster spot by moving someone for a minor pick rather than simply cutting MBrown or Ntilikina, that's another win.
And, just the idea that they had a conversation about Porzingis with meaningful intent gives me more hope than I had 24 hours ago that something legit might happen. If it doesn't, I'm more inclined to believe now that it wasn't out there to be had, at least.
