I think there are two massive benefits to trading for Holmes:
1) He would likely fit well with Luka, and he makes KP expendable
2) His contract is extremely affordable
How does Holmes make KP expandable? If we even question the defense he brings, isn't the offensive fit even more questionable? He doesn't even try to shoot threes - from the way we play with KP, that would require/lead to a completely different style in my opinion.
