NBA TRADE TALK: TDL over

The question is just whether Cuban is willing to take the (perceived) talent step back now to make a giant step forward in 6-15 months. He´s never in 20 years been willing to do this, especially when his giant ego over another failed trade (Porzingis/THJ) is involved.

Just like the unusual super summer of young unrestricted free agents (Lavine, Randle etc.) this seems an unusually active trade deadline with a bunch of rebuilding and desperate teams giving up legit talent/prospects. I´m sure Washington or Sacramento would deal for Porzingis with a reasonable return like Holmes/Bagley/X or KCP/Bryant/Hachimura. Also feels like there is a way to trade THJ at a reasonable cost. Indiana, Orlando and Detroit being the obvious candidates (Olynyk/Diallo or Harris/Bamba or Hield).

I would argue he did that with Barnes.  The fact that they supposedly were trading THJ would be another example if they do it.
