I think it is not that difficult to defend PnR if you can just switch on defense, because the big doesn't have the skill to punish a smaller guy.

But in the switch against Rudy, with someone like Luka having the ball, he still has huge spacing gravity. If a smaller guy switches on to Gobert he is STILL a lob threat and requires another defender to sag from somewhere. There is a reason RG's offensive on/off is consistently positive. And in the last two seasons RG has been +12.0 and +5.2 in the playoffs. He had the abysmal showing in 18-19 playoffs, but that is old news. He figured out his part. RG is NOT the reason UTA has gotten bumped from the playoffs the last two years, far from it.
