By "stuff", do we mean DFS? I actually like that deal for Portland. Dallas would get CJ and take Nance into their TPE.
Nothing says Portland is going cheap forever. In fact, if they want to keep Lillard, they will have to spend some money to keep Simons. Finney-Smith would fit in very nicely on their team.
Nance would be a big help to the bench O. The question with any CJ deal is can you play him, Luka and Brunson together. I suspect you can, but the D won't be championship quality. Or, you convince someone to come off the bench and divide the 96 minutes three ways playing two at a time at all time. You'd then split wing time between Bullock and Green and your big rotation would be KP/Maxi and then DP/Nance off the bench. Or, do you trade JB in this scenario and use the picks to bring in an upgrade somewhere. One thing about Nance, DP and Maxi. They all expire at the same time. so, you'd need a longer term answer coming up behind those guys.
Of course, the other approach to CJ would be something KP based.
