I'm not proposing building the team around Brunson. I am saying that he's clearly the second best player on the team, and that it's not close. If he's soaking up one of the better, longer defenders the opposing team has to throw, I say "Good! Keep that guy off of Luka."

And, I don't think Brunson is anywhere near a finished product. I think regardless of what happened in a few games here or there, or what happens tonight, he's a baller. I'm done underestimating him.

This game was proof of that, not every team will have two long defenders to throw at him and Luka. 

Brunson took it to Maxey tonight though as Maxey was on skates when Brunson ISO'd his ass. 

Like I said, Brunson is a championship piece, DFS is as well as he is a junkyard dog type of guy. He is just not a starter so the Mavs need to figure out how to upgrade him or maybe bring him off the bench and start Bullock.
