It's been reported they want to get off Tobias Harris' contract, but you might be right about something like this only getting done if Simmons is moved by the TDL.
BUT I kind of doubt Morey is thinking he'll need to attach picks to move Simmons - his entire posture with Simmons has been that he's positive value and teams will have to pay up to get him, not the other way around. Obviously just posturing, so maybe you're right...
