Why are “people” so anxious to label anyone who entertains a trade idea out loud as trying to “dump” or “get rid of” of someone.  Why can’t “people” understand that discussion and advocacy are not the same things.

I agree. Any idea is worth talking about, and not necessarily a reflection of how the poster feels about any specific outgoing player involved. It's usually just a stab at predicting the cost. 

...except when DFS is involved. That crosses the line, obviously. Dorian Finney-Smith is a treasure.
