From a floor spacing perspective I agree but he can put the ball on the floor which everyone on this team outside of Luka and Brunson have trouble with. Having him in the short roll position would be a huge improvement for us. Our deficiencies there were glaring in our last two Luka playoff series.
Also, I'm more focused on defensive fits these days and he would be perfect for what Kidd is trying to build. With the success we're having being predicated on defense I think it's important that the FO embraces Kidd's vision and really leans into that side of the floor. Holding opponents below 100 points is a good recipe for any team that has Luka running it's offense in my opinion.
