Chemistry is also an argument. I think Bullock is a good team player and it would hurt to move on from him especially after things started to click.
But it's not like the Mavs are getting back a scrub in Danny Green. He's still shooting better than Bullock this year from 3 and he's still a good team defender. Probably not at the level of Bullock, but still good.
