He first said that his back was sore. Then when doctors couldn't find anything physically wrong, they said it was mental health issues. Philly was initially receptive and only started resuming fining him when he refused to speak to a team approved mental health specialist.
Make no mistake Ben Simmons is an absolute prima donna and it's a shame that he's allowed to stranglehold his team.

Any possibility his name is in the dog house and to squelch any further bad publicity he is just accepting the fines instead of faking injury?
I get it...there are millions of dollars at steak here and very few people would just take the fines if they could prevent it.
