Human nature says a newly-minted GM will want to make a splash on his first trade deadline. Can't imagine Nico having the nerve to sit pat his first go around. As for Coach Kidd pumping up trade value, that goes against an unproven coach's survival instinct. He's here to win games, not accommodate or enhance trades. The Cuban challenge? Say nothing.
