As much as I think the on-court criticism of Simmons is unwarranted and that Rivers´ comments were completely out of line, I don´t think Simmons is helping the situation either. There were concerns regarding Anthony Edwards background/upbringing and you already traded away his basketball father Ricky Rubio. Now you are looking to bring in Ben Simmons as the new leader? I´m not the biggest culture guy, but a little common sense here. Otherwise might as well bring back Kevin Love as a spiritual leader, too.
