I'm also "in" at the minimum, but I would be more interested in Love off the bench. I'd like to see Dallas with a self-sufficient bench that allows the starters to play more together. Love/Brunson plus some defenders would be more than enough for the bench to stand on its own. Right now, the bench is missing an offensive focal point unless you keep Luka or KP on the floor with the bench guys. In my mind, Luka and KP need to be joined at the hip for the bulk of their floor time so we can see if they can make this thing work. Someone like Love (I had the same role in mind for Markkanen) would allow that.
As to the two-way, I'm wondering if maybe Dallas might trade for someone in that slot. I'm thinking of something that "compensates" Toronto for buying out Dragic, but is technically a trade that stands on its own. David Johnson, taken at #47 is a two-way guy and the cousin of Mav-for-a-minute Ray Spalding. Terry for Johnson opens up a roster slot as Johnson would take Hinton's two-way slot. Since it is a trade, Dallas could add money to the deal. Johnson is eligible to be traded on 9/7.
