While the sky may seem like it's falling, I'm actually excited about all the changes coming. Michael needed Phil. Dirk needed Rick. Let's see who is going to be able to turn our Wonder Boy into the championship-winning player we all think he can be.

Do you disagree? Cannot find another team that had to fire multiple guys in the last couple of years because of sexual assault/harrassment incidents. The current drama is not nearly as bad. Just another example for a toxic work place environment. No responsibility, unclear power structure, abuse of power (Voulgaris)?

Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us
To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side

Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again

Dragged by the force of some inner tide

At a higher altitude with flag unfurled

We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed of world

Encumbered forever by desire and ambition
There's a hunger still unsatisfied

Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon

Though down this road we've been so many times

The grass was greener
The light was brighter

The taste was sweeter

The nights of wonder

With friends surrounded

The dawn mist glowing

The water flowing

The endless river

Forever and ever

Jerry can sell a vision to free agents.  I'd also take the Pepsi challenge for Jerry when it comes to drafting.  And for as long and as shitty as the Cowboys have been, Dallas is a destination city in large part due to Jerry.  Cubes wishes he were Jerry.

My gut says that Donnie and The Great Coach Carlisle finally decided to call Cuban on some of his amateur crap and he stubbornly pushed their concerns away. I think all parties had just had enough of the "triangle of trust." It's just unfortunate for we, the fans, that the best of the three isn't the one we have a blood relation to.

I totally agree with this. Luka has shown Zero evidence that he is against anyone in any way (except ref calls). Yelling at the coach simply means he gets frustrated. He is demonstrative. No more. He believes plays should be winning play. No more.

He is not Lebron in that way. He is not even American. He does not think that way.....yet anyway.

Probably the replacement for Donnie. The GM isn´t in power anyway. Mascot takes over and Cuban saves some money.

Remember when you said Luka was going to get a coach fired during the playoffs.

Not one bit. I've been saying it for a while now, not that it's been toxic in there, but that Donnie needed to go. RC going was just going to probably happen anyway.

I might agree if I felt Cuban would hire someone and get out of the way.

Highly recommend listening to the beginning of the Lowe Post today with Tim McMahon. Some summary points:

-Cuban makes all the basketball decisions, what changes is whose advise he is taking (Dan Fegan, Chandler Parsons, Bob Voulgaris..); there are constant rumors about who has Cuban’s ear as it seems to change every couple of years
-Haralabob’s overruling draft selection was Josh Green over Saddiq Bey
-Delon Wright was indeed Haralabob’s move
-Haralabob was the one pushing to move up for Haliburton
-Haralabob held staff meetings and excluded Donnie, they quickly became adversaries
-Players started blaming Voulgaris for rotation decisions that they did not like
-Luka yelled at Rick during a game, “Who’s in charge, you or Bob?”
-McMahon described the Rick-Luka relationship as dicey and a clash of personalities
