I would, but Indy wouldn't. It makes far more sense for them to wait till TDL.

Giannis getting locked up in MIL probably makes the Heat more aggressive in chasing Gallo too.

You can have our 2021 2nd round pick or Jalen Brunson. If you do better, congrats.
Also, Tucker owes Maxi a new pair of kicks.

Maybe. Riley probably try to get Beal at all costs.

I think we can review the Mavs starting position:
Assuming THJ opts in and WCS out, Mavs have 11 players under contract. It might be wise to keep one roster spot opened, so they won't need to cut a rookie on a 4 year contract for the third year in the row . This means we can add 1 player for MLE and 2 rookies. We can of course always cut Jackson, who is useless for us.
Remaining interesting trade options:
- Philly (Harris (had to do it), Richardson)
- Detroit (Kennard, Snell)
- Nets - since 2021 cap space is less interesting now, how about taking Prince of their hands?
- Chicago (i am affraid they will be very tough negotiators)
- Cleveland (Osman)
- Houston (Tucker)
- Indiana (Oladipo)
- OKC (Green, Oubre)
- Orlando (Gordon, Fournier?)
- New York (Ntilikina)
- Sacramento (Hield, Bjelica, Holmes, Parker)
- San Antonio (who knows what they are up to - White?)
- Utah (Gobert - I don't like it, just to make complete list)

How about this "all in" proposal.
1. Wright to Knicks for Ntilikina and removed protection on our 2023 pick
2. This gives us #18, 2025 and 2027 picks to play with. We could move far up in the draft with that.
3. Draft our guy or trade that pick for a "star player"

Dallas: Heyward, Oladipo, 2 future 2nds
Boston: Hardaway, Powell and 18
Indy: Wright, Jackson and 26(from Boston)
18 is too much for either player. Could do this and still sign Millsap for the MLE. Still keep 31
Luka/Brunson
Oladipo/Curry
Heyward/DFS
Millsap/Maxi
KP/Boban

Let's trade him him to a PG hungry team for a 1st rounder in this years draft then.

Mavs can also waive Cleveland and Reaves. Would prefer most of this years late/mid 2nd round guys over both.

Hayward's option decision is due today, and everything I've read is that he's absolutely considering opting out to either sign somewhere else or force a S&T. After the Milwaukee action last night, we might want to keep an eye on Dallas for this one.

Oh, I'm not married to Brunson, and I would absolutely move him in a heartbeat if I thought it made my team better. But, I do think he's a nice player and probably ends up being a VERY nice player.

I was thinking the same last night. I think he might be the guy to watch. Either Dallas or Miami might look at him differently today.
I know health and availability are everything, but if the choices are Hayward or Gallo, give me Hayward.

I would prefer extending THJ than getting Hayward on long term contract.
Hell, even expiring Hayward, I will need a first round to consider it.
Don't tell me Oladipo has no value and then we find that we need to pay something for Hayward

Ok, so help me understand this. Is it about his game, or the injury history?
Because if it's about the injury history, THEY (people in the league) know way more than WE do. Oladipo has "no value" RIGHT NOW, because teams don't want to commit future guaranteed money to him without seeing him play well again. THEY think HIS injury is more worrisome than Hayward's multitude of health issues.

Both. I don't think he is good fit here, and his health is an issue.
And a quick reminder, people in the league paid the max for Parsons thinking he is healthy. Or big contract to Wes Matthews when he is injured.
This is a guy who averaged more than 11ppg in playoffs only once in his career, and he is 30 and hadawful injury afterwards
No way he is worth the risk for me
