Wow. Beilien didn't make it through a whole season.
Foolish look on the Cavs though. I don't know what they expected.
I feel like Beilien wouldn't look half as bad if the roster was composed of young players he could just coach without having to manage egos. He can't boss around Kevin Love and Andre Drummond like he's a 3 star recruit at Michigan.
With that said, it gives the front office even more reason to move on from their vets and give Beilein a true shot. But to fire a coach halfway into a season in his 5 year contract is ludicrous.
Yeah people are so quick to drop Rick for some of his questionable rotations, but his ability to connect with players is his biggest skill. Can't say I miss any of the players who butted heads with him. Hopefully he and Luka stay on the same page until they win a couple championships together and Rick is ready to head back to ESPN

This is more on Beilien, than the players. Friends of his say he's not happy with the losing, and all the travel. That episode when he called his players "Thugs" after another loss, didn't help his cause either. Funny how Brad Stevens made the adjustment from college to pro quite well, but Boston isn't Cleveland either.

I don't think Giannis was thinking when he said that.
Or he could be trying to get Kostas paid. That one comment made sure as hell LA would never touch him and make sure he gets the bag.
Either way, I still think Dallas is just far and away the more attractive location than LA. 37 year old Lebron vs. 21 year old Luka is a no brainer to me.

Maybe not if Carlisle is still the coach. Been hearing Carlisle's prickly attitude, and quirky ways, is the reason a lot of top tier FA's won't come to Dallas. Has nothing to do with Cuban. He's universally respected.
Reggie Jackson was bought out by Detroit, will sign with the Clippers. I want to see if all these moves will result in a title. Looks like too many chiefs, and not enough Indians.

Yes. If Dallas doesn't win enough, they face the same challenges holding on to Luka, as Milwaukee trying to hold on to Giannis. If the Bucks make the finals, I think Giannis stays, win or lose.

Superstars run the NBA now and if they aren't provided what they want, they find a new team that will provide what they want. I hope like hell Luka plays his entire career here, but I guarantee Luka won't put up with what Dirk went through.

Forget about Anthony Davis? He is a better fit for Giannis than Luka. Giannis and Luka are 1 and 2 in the league in usage.
Not to mention the whole SoCal and one of the most glamour franchises in sports factors.

It's cute that this Heat writer can look at the Doncic/Dragic connection and think that Miami signing Luka in two years (does he not know how RFA works?) is more likely than Dallas signing Dragic this summer.

I didn't but I think the gap between 37 year old Lebron and Luka is going to be something incredibly pertinent. And the fact that the Mavs have both Luka and Porzingis, that that is enough to overcome 37 year old Lebron and just AD.

True. I honestly thought CP was done based on all the Rox chatter. I think Harden is the Rox problem.

Of course he is. As Westbrook was yours There kind of play can't lead to trophies, despite their excellent individual qualities

I would argue Westbrook is outplaying Harden this year at least the last 2 months
