The first game in NBA history that 3 different players had a triple-double in the same game.

The Pacers have secured a bottom-three record.
They'll have the best lottery odds to land the number 1
pick, and a top 4 pick

I hate that they're making me root for the Clippers. Fingers crossed that pick falls to #5.

I'd be fine with that if it was because the Mavs moved up, but I certainly have no animus against Carlisle and the Pacers.

It's nothing against Carlisle. I just don't like the idea of a team that went to the Finals last year getting another star.

That was last year. Their team will look totally different next season. And who's to say with all the shenanigans with the lottery, they'll get the top pick?

I prefer more parity. Plenty of teams need a star so they have a chance to get out of the cellar. The Pacers will be good next year even if they lose the pick. Going to a multi-year record for lottery standings could help prevent what they did this season.

We wouldn't have Flagg then.

Correct. I'm glad we do, but I don't think it should have been possible.

Lebron James reached the Finals from the weaker conference nine times more than any other player.
