He's basically gotten worse as he's gotten a bigger role. He's not what I'd call an efficient 3pt shooter, or efficient at all for that matter. He's a much worse THJ. Wes Matthews 2.0.

Yes, 2 years ago I wanted him badly. Now, I’d take him with the MLE as a gamble that he needs to get away from Mem. Wes Matthews sans the achilles injury. Portland Wes was a force.

Everyone here fails to mention he's an elite perimeter defender. I'm not talking about featuring him in the offense. I'm talking about replacing Bullock's role.

He seems to be talking about featuring himself on offense a lot though.

Hollinger: Dillon Brooks can still help almost anyone … if he can manage The Line - The Athletic Very good insight from the guy who was there to start his career. One of the most interesting lines from the article:
“Beyond that, look at the free-agent market. Puff your chest out and say, “We don’t want that guy on our team,” but if it’s for midlevel exception money and you need a small forward, it will be extremely difficult to do any better.”
Upgrade our talent. Be there to capitalize on his image being repaired. Do it at a discount.
Literally everything that we have wanted from our FO is sitting right there.

Totally agree. But with his personality as described it would be even more important to bring in a vet who could command attention and put in line all this "flawed" characters. Someone respected, who knows what it takes to win, who they will listen to.

I’d be fine with Brooks as long as he knows his role and doesn’t think it’s his job the jack up terrible shots. He’s been doing that shit for at least a couple years now.

Getting away from guys feeding into the bad side of that trait will help tremendously as well. Add in a mentor type (dare I say Keef?), and it’s that much better.

Not sure he’s made the right choices very much, but he’s a guy, that is signed with the sole purpose of keeping in Brooks ear to keep him closer to the positive side of that mentality, might not be horrible at vet min.

I knew he wasn't going to survive this. The question is, who do they bring in?

I don’t know the size of the contract he gets this off-season and he is not the ideal fitting part with the rest of the roster, but I am a Naz Reid fan. I like how he plays the game.

Warriors with great adjustments. Don´t think a lot of coaches would have benched Looney after he had another 20+ rebounds performance in game one but Kerr and his staff did it anyway. Solved the spacing issues. Took away the Lakers biggest strength...rim protection/interior defense.
In game one a lot of possessions ended with forced 3s against a late clock because Green or Looney couldn´t find the open shooter coming off a screen. Tonight Curry is playing with the ball in his hands. More pick&roll. Less off ball screens. Lakers blitz or double. Warriors take advantage of a 4vs3 situation.

Would probably be a disaster but tonight showed why there'd be at least a little optimism if we threw a stupid amount of money and assets into a Draymond s&t
