The refs change every game, so if anything they don't cash in on their own pockets. Yes, they could at least serve some of thier peers, but an entierely fixed salary also has negative implications, as then their wouldn't be any incentive to perform well. Giving out bonuses does, when even getting the chance to call a Playoff game ist tied to the performance during the regular season. Imho that's exactly the case.

DP is the best screener, the best organizer of the D, and gives the best effort. He is the best big man option for the Mavs IMO.

Maxi is the best on ball defender, shot blocker, rebounder (sadly) and floor spacer.  Either way, if they are who you are depending on, you are probably boned.

Agreed. He's been one of the better color commentators I've heard in a while.
