AROUND the NBA:
I called it, Wizards got the 1st pick.

Lottery Ball Gods have resumed their normally scheduled programming when it comes to the Mavs.  All is right in the world.

Elimination game for the 76ers and their effort level is absolutely pathetic.

I mean a cynical person would say this lottery was fixed, too.

If Washington takes Peterson, which seems plausible considering their dire guard situation, then Utah gets the guy that Ainge paid $10M to play highschool/college in Utah. Memphis gets their grit and grind style franchise player mixture of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. The Bulls get the athletic freak from North Carolina. The Pacers get punished for their tanking and protection f******. Nobody cares about the Nets, Kings or Hawks and normal service resumes.

One thing is for sure I´d trade AD the f*** out of Washington before he can even speak a word to Peterson; with his own fitness issues.

Terrible feeling after such a fun round 1 win to go out and lose in a sweep and just get destroyed. Yuck.

That's too bad. I hope they pin it Nick Nurse and fire him (so...)

76ers have #22 in the draft. Won't have capspace to make any bigger changes. They have Maxey and Edgecombe. Can hope that both continue to improve. But at the same time George and Embiid aren't getting any younger. Treadmill incoming...

He can only hope the league doesn't tack on additional suspension time. But I doubt it happens. Wemby is one of the future faces of the league.

I don't think it happens either, but I wouldn't be upset if it did.  Shades of Metta World Peace on that elbow.

League should give him a fine instead and let him play the rest of the playoffs.

Thought Wemby was fouled, then he was fouled while he threw the elbow. The elbow throwing was called correctly, him being fouled before, after and during his throwing of the elbow was not called correctly. Then, toward the end of the game the TWolves got the benefit of "home cooking" type calls. Offensive fouls on the Spurs that weren't called on the other end. The game was close enough that it affected the outcome.

Wemby needs an enforcer next to him, like a Charles Oakley. SA has nobody on their team that fits that role. Because teams are going to bring the physicality against him.

Agreed. OKC is the perfect example with Holmgren/Hartenstein.

Dylan Harper's reaction to Wemby's elbow is priceless...

They can have The Knife for 5x first round picks.

Remember Luka vs the Clippers. Same story. Of course Wemby is getting fouled on every single possession. So are other superstars. Up to him to keep his cool.
Sad reality is that flopping is being rewarded. Complaining and lashing out on the other hand is only going to hurt your team. SGA and Embiid are borderline unwatchable but they have figured it out. Luka and Lebron complain. Wemby lashed out. Jokic and Giannis had similar incidents in the past.
