Great ceremony. I could’ve done without about 4 of the different arrangements of that stupid Green Day song, but everything else was perfect.

Dirk also deliberately listened to this song in the car on the way to his last game (it says so in the book "The Great Notwitzki"), so this song has to have a huge meaning for him. Prior to the game came Mr. Jones by Counting Crows, which Dirk named his favorite song some 15 years ago which could also have been coincidence haha.
