I'm suggesting that either Mark didn't clearly define the roles in communicating with other teams or that Bob disregarded them. I don't believe that Mark ever told Donnie to stop calling teams because "Bob is doing that now". Either the roles weren't defined, and that's on Mark. Or Mark's buddy disregarded the structure and Mark didn't fix it. That's on Mark. 

What you're suggesting is the possibility that Donnie got fired because he didn't like the ambiguity or Bob's disregard for protocall. If that's true, then I think even less of Mark.
