Was a tide game when he entered with 5 minutes left in the game. RC went with the lineup that made a huge comeback and brought Luka back to close out the game. Don´t see a mistake on his part.
You don't see a problem with resting one of the best players in the league because it was a tie game? Yeah ok. Maybe we would have been up 5 or more at that same point if Luka was in. It clearly was a mistake.
The lineup that was in was fighting and keeping the Mavs in it. They tied it because the lineup was working. Carlisle wanted extra rest for Luka, PLUS he was mirroring the rest Walker was getting. Luka came right into the game when Walker entered. Carlisle did nothing wrong. Whats more surprising is how KP has been benched essentially the entire quarter.
