I feel like fans really hate the "vet lockerroom player/coach leader" guy as a waste of a roster spot, but maybe there is a reason why really good organizations and even those who have large data and player development departments like the Miami Heat keep Udonis Haslem on the roster year after year after year when he barely plays. Spoelstra and Riley aren't stupid. And it doesn't say anything about Jimmy Butler or Bam or Duncan Robinson's lack of intangibles or leadership that the Heat feel the need to keep Haslem on the roster. We lost that guy in JJB.
