This game was lost off the poor play by Brunson and Timmy. 4/20 from the field for a total of 13 points. 

Absolutely garbage. It's eerily reminiscent of the loss against the Rockets where DFS/Melli/JRich combined for 12 points on 3/20 shooting.

Cannot win a basketball game when core role players are shooting 15-20% from the court. 

Silver lining is that Luka/KP connection is still firing on all cylinders and looked nearly unstoppable tonight. Unfortunate such a good performance from those two had to go to waste.

To me that’s where a MLE like Mcdermott/Green/Dragic would come into play. Or Fournier would’ve fit. Having another bench scorer on nights where we need some extra punch
