There has to be some sort of compensation. The NBA is creating an uneven playing field by doing this especially if they're using win % as the cutoff for playoff standings.
Currently the Grizzlies sit in 9th with an 11-11 record, and the Mavs are 10th with a 13-15 record. Why should the Mavs have a 6 game penalty where they were without half their roster (which coincides with their 6 game terrible losing streak), but the Griz are basically handed an advantage over all other teams?
Either the Grizz should be forced to make up the games with multiple B2B's, or be given penalties for postponed games due to COVID.
