Interesting chess move by Spoelstra, made in game 4 (I think). Through the first two rounds, he was staying with like a 9-10 man rotation, which as we know is unusual. Olynyk, Nunn and especially Iggy have looked BAD in most of those games.
As Boston makes some adjustments to get back into the series, Spo shortens his rotation up. He simply cuts Nunn out, which was predictable, but opts to move Iggy to backup center in place of Olynyk. I haven't really looked at the numbers, but I can't say I thought it was successful enough that I thought he'd stick with it. Yet, here we are, second or third game in a row, with Iggy playing minutes at the 5.
Neither of these teams seems particularly interested in defense right now. That has not been the case for Miami in these playoffs until very recently. This does not bode well for them against LA.
