Bullets:

• It's great that the season is back, better that the Mavs might be finally relevant again.
  
• Luka is a beast. Liked that he went after Beal, but felt like Beal got the better of him temporarily. Official story however is that Luka annoyed him into ejection of course! Otherwise he was simply stellar.
  
• Little confused with Luka's lack of assists. Sure, some bricks, but he didn't seem to setup too many teammates today.
  
• Search for the starting unit: Lee isn't the answer (he shouldn't play at all?). Probably had the worst night alongside THJ, who had to shake off an early injury scare.
  
• Curry needs a more prominent role. Team shot just 11-36 from three, 4-20 outside Luka and KP. He's a shooter, you know? Also had other nice plays.
  
• Brunson lit the fire in the first half, and had a strong game although the box score doesn't reflect that.
  
• Same with Kleber. Eight rebounds and three blocks might not sound like much, but he was out best defensive player.
  
• KP rebounding was an issue. Four is not enough for for a 7-3 guy.
  
• Jackson and Dodo had nice contributions off the bench. I'd give DFS the next shot at starting because he rebounds hard and just does all the little things that help you win.
