Yeah definitely unusual approach. At the same time I doubt OKC paid Daigneault much to begin his head coaching career. Identify a PROPER UNPROVEN head coach and GM and you have two cheap, extremely hard working, smart people trying to prove themselves. I assume he won´t hire Nico Harrisons.
Can´t argue with his numbers. Eight years at Hurricanes, eight play-off appearances. Hard to attribute this season to him, but it´s play-offs again for the Blazers. More worried about a cheap owner that knows what he is doing than a Dumont or Vivek.
