Not one player ever has turned down the opportunity to get the super max that Luka will be offered the next time his contract is up. There has never been even a hint of danger of losing him, and there never will be until about a year after he signs that contract.

When we get to that point, it’s not going to matter how many championships they have or have not won during his time here in Dallas, it’s going to matter what the outlook of the team is moving forward from THERE. I sure hope they wise up and stop spending all of their assets in time to have some options available then, when it will matter most.
