Yeah I get he's expiring next year, just why deal him in the offseason instead of at the deadline and getting that information on how his fit is with Haliburton. I guess it'd have to be for an immediate pick at the 2022 draft instead of waiting for a 2023 pick if they know 100% he won't even think for a second about resigning in Indiana.
