Man, what will this team be like when they learn how to crush teams in crunch time? Clean up the turnovers and free throws and just generally learn how to run their offense in the last 6 minutes and we may have a good team on our hands. Defense and rebounding are already usually good in the last 6.
Watching this process reminds me a little of the championship team. Like all teams, they had their pluses and minuses, but boy, did they know how to close games!
Kuddos to DFS! I think the concrete-ness of his starter/finisher status is exceeded only by 2 other Mavs.
If he can become a consistent offensive contributor, that's big for him.
