Nurse? Or one of the assistants?

I heard Bud's top assistant Charles Lee may be considered. His name has been rumored for Detroit and Toronto as well.  Does hiring him mean he will use what he learned from Bud?   I don't know. They don't need a retread like Vogel, Nurse, McMillan, Stotts, etc.  They need a younger coach with fresh ideas I would think.

We need good experienced coaches, there is no place to make rookie mistakes.
And we need good players...

So reading a Minny board it seems like their GM has said signing Reid is a priority for them.    I wonder what the $ would be.  Would they go above full MLE for a backup big?  Some posters even said they would be more down if Naz Reid is not back over KAT not being back next year.

Even if he is not the defensive anchor we have been discussing, Reid would be my #1 choice if we had the full MLE.    We could offer him a starting role on a team desperately in need of bigger bodies.

Ya, Reid looks like a bigger bodied Montrezl Harrell. I think his best role is ad a backup big.

Now, if he backed up someone that gets less minutes like the type C I would look for (not naming names cause rbws will come in and accuse me of stalking them Wink ).

I just like how he plays.  He plays with an edge and he plays hard.   Even with his lack of skills we need, I think he would be a nice addition.  Not a finishing piece but a guy who could impact games even if he is not a great rim protector.

I liked him for that until I took a bit closer look and saw the Harrell comparison. I would not be upset with the acquisition, just not wanting it to be a top priority.

Yeah, I can see some of the Harrell comparisons.  Reid provides more upside shooting though.   I am not sure what type of guy Reid is but there have been some issues with Harrell with some of the teams have been on.  From what I can see, Reid appears to have no issue with this. Reid is also the better ball handler too. Harrell has put up better rebounding #'s but maybe Reid has lower numbers due to who he is playing with???

And just like that, Harden will be done in Philly. Rockets fans can go ahead and dust off their Harden jerseys again...he will be back

Ayton benched with 0/2. If we are lucky the Nuggets maul them in four games and the Suns owner gets so frustrated that he just salary-dumps Ayton.

Who is the better set of wings, Booker and KD or Tatum and Brown.?

As much as I dislike him, Booker had a masterpiece of a game yesterday. And is rolling throughout these playoffs to be honest, putting up historic numbers. Wouldn’t have guessed that he‘s the clear alpha guy to Durant.

Why not? Durant has always been a beta. Westbrook, Steph, Irving....now Booker.

It's like the opposite of what happened with the Warriors
Curry was the main focus of the defense so Durant looked unstoppable. Now Durant is the main focus and Booker can look more unstoppable

Big day for Harden's legacy this afternoon. I guess even if he plays well, there is still plenty of time to lay another stinker in an elimination or deciding game.

Devin Booker is from another planet in these playoffs and Jamal Murray isn't far behind. Great matchup.

Joker is destroying Ayton and the Suns. And Booker is doing the same to Denver. Great game!
