The main message - Indy sold LeVert for expiring and picks. Not for a good or promising player. So a total rebuild is to be expected. Why not rather wait and target Brogdon in the summer?

Indy plays Cleveland today right? Wonder if there will be any other trades involving teams playing today... ?

I wonder how much longer Carlisle will coach. That´s clearly not what he expected, when he signed up for that job.

It speaks volumes of the MBT (and the Cavs job) that Cleveland virtually replaced their WHOLE NBA finals team roster of 2018 in four years, has a better record than us now with a much younger roster and are challenging for the top seed in the East again.

It´s not imposisble, if you are opportunistic and know what you are doing.

Talent downgrade was expected. Pacers simply don´t have a Luka level player. He probably did not expect to have more than half of the starting five out with injuries for the majority of the season. Warren still hasn´t played a single game this Season. Brogdon played two games since christmas. Levert missed the first two weeks of the season. Turner seems to be out for the season.

Mavs are supposedly at the front of the line for Myles Turner again. I knew it! Get it done Nico.

VP2...Kiss of Death.  Shame, I liked the idea of getting Turner.

I´m not even sure, that he thought that Indiana was a talent downgrade overall. Sure they don´t have a Luka type player, but healthy and at full strength that was a very deep team with 5-6 players capable of putting up numbers on any given night.

I think Carlisle fancied himself far superior to Bjoerkgren, anticipated a healthy roster and an improve of 12-15 wins to enhance his reputation. Problem is that Bjoerkgren might have been an a**hole, but probably a pretty good basketball mind.

I would be devastated.

My dream is a team revolved around Luka - Sabonis - Brunson. Three playmakers that can destroy any defensive scheme.

Yeah that phrasing makes it seem like Bagley can be had for garbage. He fits in the TPE too.

Also want to ask, does anyone know who the agents are for McCollum and Collins?

He doesn't. TPE 10.9  Bagley 11.3

Collins is Schwartz, McCollum is Goldfelder

Problem with Bagley is, that his QO is likely higher than what he is worth.

Interestingly both of those agents are apart of Excel. Mavs longstanding relationship with Schwartz could be an advantage. At least it was under Donnie.

My eyes deceived me I was looking at Bagley's salary last year, not this one. In any case year, that 14.7 QO is too rich for me, even if Bagley could be had for free. Would rather wait until the summer and see what happens then.
