Interesting. Memphis has made solid move after solid move the last several years. They are a team to watch. They have a ton of solid players and eventually they will look to package a few of them for a bigger piece. I wonder who they would have their eye on at 10. It appears the draft gets really muddy in that range where rankings are all over the place.
Last year they got two all rookie candidates without going into the draft with a first round pick and also got a real interesting UDFA as well.

Would love to get the 14th pick from the Warriors but outside of a big trade for a star where the Mavs can add some value as the 3rd team I don´t see a way.
I am really high on the international prospects in the high/mid first round and there is a good chance that one out of Giddey, Sengun, Wagner or Garuba is still available at 14.

I like several UDFA viewed players. Most will have a very long odds to make it to the NBA, but there are several guys who I would like to take a closer look at. I would prefer Hinton over all of them, but I am hopeful Hinton makes the real roster to free up a spot or two as a two-way.

I looked at him a few weeks ago. His highlights didn't blow me away. He looks like a young deer out there. But he only completed his sophomore year but is 21. Maybe as a guy who develop over time as he develops. Florida State players typically don't put up big stats. I would prefer other big man in this range, but it is probably smart to bring him in and see his growth over the past few months.
He is pretty mobile though and I do have a soft spot for Serbian players.

Curious to see the boards thoughts on the turkish phenom Alperen Sengun. He's one of the most old-school players I've seen in a long time but he has fantastic footwork. He starred over in the turkish superleague and essentially dominated over there in his rookie season.
He's slated to go anywhere from 7-16.

Worst case scenario he is Enes Kanter 2.0. Would love to have him on the Mavs. Incredible touch around the rim and from midrange. Hard to come up with a term to describe it but he just has the right feel for the game. Timing, positioning and movement. He obviously needs some time to work on his body but at his age that´s a given.

You just summarized my thoughts last night. Don't know how to actually verbalize it but his feel for the game is so apparent.
His balance is amazing. He spins on a dime and leaves people in the dust. You're right he's a bit skinny, but after a couple of years in the NBA when he's matured I think he could be fantastic.
I see a lot of Jusuf Nurkic in him, except more talented offensively. Maybe even Nikola Vucevic. He just needs to get some muscle.

Pelicans have picks 35, 43, 51 and 53 in the second round. They could be a target if you want to buy a pick or make a small trade.

OKC and Nets have three 2nd round picks. Big question is how much money Dallas has left from Kokoskov transaction

No doubt...Cuban would draft this if it was eligible.

So instead of the Hornets trying to spend 18 million on R. Holmes why not draft Garuba with their first round pick and free up room for Lonzo? That would be fun.

I was just watching Scottie Barnes high school highlights at Montverde Academy. On his SR team team they had Barnes, Cade Cunningham, Moses Moody and Day'ron Sharpe plus at least a few other college prospects. Jeez... That is a stacked team.
With the hiring of Kokoslov as an assistant coach, I think there are two serbian prospects in the draft. Balsa Koprivica is probably an undrafted guy and Filip Petrusev is probably a late first/mid second round pick. Both have college experience so they are not unknown guys.
