Giannis is a bigman and the Bucks are using him as the main ballhandler. He has good handles for a guy of his size but he needs a main ballhandler next to him that can bring the ball up the floor. I guess Bledsoe was supposed to be that guy but he has been terrible. Bucks should have kept Brogdon instead of him. They probably regret choosing Bledsoe over Brogdon.

Matthews bricking threes like a crazy person, while Crowder makes two in a row. Maybe they can both dial it down a bit, or Giannis might think our front office is incompetent. Cuban needs to build Wes a mini statue infront of the ACC after Dirk. First he bricked the Mavs into Luka, now he might brick Giannis to Big D.

Damn Igoudala is awful. Also Miami should call a timeout, so Milwaukee can get Matthews back in.

Giannis out for the rest of the game after re-injuring the right ankle.
Bucks up 50-48 at the half.

Heat up by 1 with 21 seconds. Pulling for the Heat eep. I did pick the Heat for the finals (prediction thread) but also had the Mavs.

Last nine minutes scoring of the game
Bucks without Matthews 13-0
Bucks with Matthews 2-7
Bud needs to put Wes in for the last play.

That is the little goofy ref that screwed with the Mavs games.

Well, Bucks will likely squeak this out.

Like honestly whats the best teams? Heat? Celtics? Raps? Clips dwarf all of those.

Butler went AWOL, once the Bucks pulled the plug on Robin Hood defending him.

Its beyond me how anyone would pick Wes Matthews to play with the Bucks, especially starting next to a superstar like Giannis.
After playing with Dallas, I thought most teams would want him as a 6th man.

Wes is still living on his reputation. He doesn't really shoot much these days so not really an asset there and he can't stay in front of anybody defensively.

Two things could be seen in this game on the Milwaukee side:
1. How bad is their offense with Giannis playing onball in halfcourt offense. The other Bucks looked much better with him gone. This is not Giannis fault, this is a system (coach) fault
2. Bucks basically have no offense, it is just iso ball. They had a good second quarter, but then it was just Middleton iso ball. I could say Bucks were lucky because he was shooting very difficult shots
On the Miami side, Robinson is sooooo gooood! He is constantly running on offense. Not moving, running.

I, for one, really hope that this board doesn't descend into a premature Giannis sour grapes-fest. Y'all are too smart for that. He's still the second-best young player in the league.

Oh, for sure. He's being misused.

He is the best C/PF in the league. Problem is that he is the main ballhandler for the Bucks. They are running zero plays for him and expect him to create from the perimeter.
That´s not going to work against a good half court defense. He has good handles but he isn´t a guard.

I will say this by risking Houston turns it around. I told you there is no chance Houston sweeps Lakers with Westbrook. He has probably lowest basketball IQ in the league. Luka would be unstoppable with Russ athleticism, he would score 70 per game.
In first 14 minutes of the game he has 4 turnovers, shot twice more shots than Harden and scored 2 points. Harden has 7 on 3 shots...

Agreed. Westbrook is totally unable to affect the game positively without the ball in his hands, and by the time he gets it he’s so frustrated that he dribbles into three defenders like a middle school kid. I’m not a fan of his in general, and he’s even less effective with that team. Luka and Harden are probably the two worst fits for him in the entire sport.
Harden might have shortened his own championship window by not working harder to get along with Chris Paul. He wasn’t a good fit, either, but he was infinitely better at making the best of it.

How hilarious would it be if the Heat were the first team in NBA history to lose a series after being up 3-0... that is an honour that I would love bestowed upon the Mavs most hated franchise...
