I would bring in Bro before this guy for the playoffs but if he is a possible long term fit, then I guess you have to nab him when you can.

It mentioned briefly about a transaction period later this month. And that the Mavs would have to wave someone to bring in a new player. Maybe they bring back Bro and this new kid in and not pick-up the two 2way players?

In the few clips I watched he made quite a few trees but according to bballref.com/international he hasn't been much of a threat from outside. At this stage he is a rim running big, has potential to add a 3pt shot. He is a good shot blocker and rebounder, but doesn't have shot creation ability yet. Basically would play like WCS at the moment, but more focused https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2929...ne-53-days Going by this the Mavs can't sign anyone unless they cut a player or a player gets COVID or is injured at Disney World. Could be confusion about Magnay, maybe Mavs have shown interest in signing him to training camp for next season.

Why would GSW look to sign a player at this stage? In any case, even if they actually sign him to a 2-way, it will be a long shot that he will see any playing time.

Mavs have a really tough almost b2b against Clips and MIL 8/6 and 8/8 Hopefully we start off strong against Houston, PHX, and SAC. Houston may be rusty. PHX and SAC though might be incredibly hungry to make the playoffs.

I think they will start full of energy and then be worse with every passing game as they will spend big energy battling much bigger opponents. I just hope we don't play small ball against them, as they have better small ball players. Just put Bobi in and let him feast as they have absolutely none to even remotely trouble him once in the key.

NTV games are listed as TNT, ESPN, ABC and NBATV. I'm not counting NBA League Pass games. Here is who the NBA and the Networks are betting on will get the most viewers or dollars? In the West: # 1 - LAL = 7 games. # 2 - LAC = 7 games. The Lakers take first because all 7 game are on either TNT or ESPN. The Clips have 2 on NBATV. # 3 - NO = 6 games. # 4 - HOU = 6 games. NBA stated that this is not about Zion - and NO is in 3rd. They only have 1 game on NBATV vs HOU 2 games on NBATV. # 5 - Den = 5 game. # 6 - UTH = 5 games. # 7 POR - 5 games. Mavs get no respect here with POR getting more national TV games. # 8 - MAVS = 4 games. # 9 - OKC = 4 games. # 10 - MEM = 4 games. MAVS take 8th due to only 1 game on NBATV. # 11 - SAC = 3 games. # 12 - SAN = 2 games. # 13 - PHX = 1 game. In the East: # 1 - BOS = 6 games. # 2 MIL = 6 games. BOS takes 1st due to they have no games on NBATV. # 3 - TOR - 5 games. # 4 - MIA = 4 games. # 5 - PHL = 4 games. # 6 - BRK = 3 games. # 7 - IND = 2 games. # 8 - ORL = 2 games. And # 8 WAS - 1 game. Kind of ran out of steam writing this but you can see where the TV money is on this NBA return.

They got a huge break. I also think its just as likely for Houston to falter out of the gate. Mostly because if there is any star in this league that would have motivation issues/conditioning concerns coming into warmup games before the playoffs, it'd be James Harden. Not to mention that of any of the players to break the bubble for strippers, my money would be on Harden to be the first one to risk it all. Hopefully its the latter and not the former and the Mavs can get a good start in the gauntlet before the playoffs.
