First of all, I always appreciate the title of this thread being updated to give me a quick idea if any interesting news broke.
From that, I am kinda shocked the Mavs are 19-6 in the last 25 games. Huge kudos to the team for that good of a stretch. It felt like yesterday the Jazz we're out of reach for the 4th spot. It's crazy to think about that they could easily be (and arguably should be) 21-4 if they played with inspiration against OKC and ORL.

On those two losses, after Fridays game we will be at the 60 game mark of my 10 game set thread. Those two games are a great example of why people wiser than me look at seasons in 10 game sets rather than individual games. The 19-6 stretch is a very impressive way to look at the current season. Multiplied out 19-6 comes to a a 62-20 season. That is a great pace of wins. That is top 2 seed results almost every time.
My point; the season success has far better measures than any one or even a few games. Losses to teams with poor records happen to every team every year. By the way even if we lose to Utah we will have gone 6-4 after the 0-2 start. That is the measure, said coach Motta of a consistently good team.

Really nice couple of minutes of how DFS and Maxi are out most integral defenders, and why they're so valuable.
Love Ben Taylor and his analysis.

What a great video.
Basically, we're seeing the team attempt to blend an offensive system pretty close to Carlisle's (maybe a little more off-ball movement) with this new defensive system Kidd brought in.
Space on one end, energy and toughness on the other, with no more fake superstars ruining everything by standing in the paint with their hand up as if they could actually do anything once they caught the ball. It's finally fun to watch the team again.

I liked the way he took a bit to briefly show how KP doesn't fit with what DAL wants to do offensively. You can also see how KP's insistence on posting up was just a boulder in the stream.
You can see how the current offensive scheme gets more mid-range shots. Not just drive and kick for a 3pt attempt. Unless Kawahi makes a miracle recovery back into superman mode, the playoffs could be interesting.
FWIW, my brother, who is usually pretty sports savvy, lives in the MEM area and he's having fun with the Grizz success this season. Despite that, the one team he hopes to avoid in the playoffs is DAL.

Sorry, didn’t see this posted somewhere else.
My favourite part was when Cuban said “we wouldn’t burn a second round pick (on Bronny), just for the sake of burning it”
Burning a second round pick for Satnam Singh or ‘Sarge’ or in any mavericks trade ever, no problem, but burning a second round pick for a year of Lebron… that’s a bridge too far…
