I loved his peak Clippers years. However, he is 39 years old, doesn't play defense, his shooting percentages in his last two seasons dropped well below his most productive seasons, his 3 point percentage is below league average. I am not really sure what exactly is so great at this stage of his career.
Oh yes, he scored 50 points in a meaningless last season game where no one played defense. Dirk scored 30 in that game - really stupid we didn't resign him...

Apparently there is some stuff going on in CHI with Lavine and the coach over there. They are publicly talking about „trust“ in oneanother. Seems bad.
I’m pretty confident that the Bulls might end up being a team that could fit as a trade partner. Lavine‘s value must be shot and he’s clearly not a nr 1 option, Porter is overpaid and not producing, that Felicio-deal fits into our TE and runs til 21.
Lots of possibilities for some sort of trade action.

My guess would be they will change coach sooner or later. I think they have better players than results show. Than most likely it will take a couple of months before new coach will pull some changes. Dunn is certainly on a trading block. They would want to get rid of Felicio for sure, but lottery team will never pay assets to get rid of bad salary.

I´d give them our 1st plus some Fellatio for Powell and Lee.
Ah wait we can´t trade that thing until draft night, right? Mavs might be forced to actually draft again.

Down 1 with 7s left in the game. You are the worst high volume shooter in the league. Lane to the rim is open. Better shooter is open in the corner.
Do you...
a) take the ball to the rim
b) kick the ball to an open guy in the corner
c) brick a 3

c) brick a 3 At least he called himself trash afterwards :-) One of lowest IQ players in the league. He has been terrible offensively so far, strugled even with layups. I bet he will shoot 70 % against Mavs :-(

So glad we weren't on Beverley's radar in free agency. Overpaying him would have been bad news

On the second night of a B2B, the same Cleveland team that got absolutely demolished by Dallas just beat Portland. I know it's still early in the season, but I think the Blazers are done.

Karma's a bitch. Charlotte beat Detroit and New York on buzzer beating 3's a week ago.

Incredible that the Blazers just lost to a team that we blew out by 42 the night before. They were on the 2nd night of a back to back too!!
I can never count out Lillard, so I don't think the Blazers are done, but they're certainly hemorrhaging. Losing all of their role players certainly made them vulnerable. This injury bug with Dame might open them to missing the playoffs for the first time in the last 6 years.

And without playing Kevin Love!
Just no interior presence on Portland with 3 Centers out. Yet they add Super-Chucker Melo (5/15, 0/8 3pt) ... They live and (mostly) die by the the jumpshot, no Plan B anymore.

Portland, by far, has the largest luxury tax exposure this season at $13 million over the line. The LT bill is $25 million. I'm not sure it does anything to help Dallas, but I could see them making a change or two before the deadline.

I was sure they will trade for someone like Love or Griffin. If they wait till TDL they might be done by then. I don't understand Cleveland and the Love situation. Do they really want to keep him or asking price is too high at the moment.
Theoretically they could trade us Whiteside for THJ and then for example Collins and something else in our TE to get out of tax. But I don't really see sense in this kind of move, neither for Portland or Mavs. We would need to cut at least 2 players to get it done.

Ignoring the blockbuster possibilities for a moment, I can definitely see them looking to tip someone to take Bazemore off their hands for a cheaper contract that reduces their luxury tax exposure.
