That was a whole lot of good plays! I liked best the blocks that he got back for himself. Blocks are frustrating if the other team controls it. I also liked the numerous cuts to the basket/make yourself available plays. Finally, I liked that as the year wore on, he settled on the Tim Duncan bank shot when near the block...and it worked.

I always think, if we could somehow get Giannis we might win a title.
I just can´t wrap my head around how good he is; that we´d probably win 3-4 titles (conservatively) with a core of Giannis, Luka, Kristaps, Curry, Kleber, Brunson and DFS.
He´s averaging 30/14/6 in 31 MPG. Jesus. He plays 40 MPG, he´d probably be around 39/19/8 AVERAGES with elite defense. Shaq did 30/13/4 in his best 40 MPG season. I know different rules and all, but that´s like Wilt Chamberlain level crazy.

In my opinion, if you add Giannis to Luka and KP, we immediately have a dinasty for many years. With some minor adjustments to Giannis and Luka game, this trio could be unstoppable. Giannis and KP would absolutely lock the paint. Giannis pushing the ball after rebound. If defense is set, Luka is given the ball and runs the set offense with Giannis or KP PnR. Stagger Giannis and Luka. Just put any two shooters with half a decent defense with them plus of couple of decent bench guys and I would really like to see a line-up able to contend them.

Watching some highliht videos from NYK and Dallas I noticed that Porzingis has changed his landing patterns on dunks. Now it´s a lot less forceful and rushed, but more controlled and two footed. He has a much better weight distribution, which should reduce his injury risk.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was as surprised as anyone when the New York Knicks agreed to trade Kristaps Porzingis in January 2019.
Appearing on WFAN's Moose & Maggie on Wednesday, Cuban made the analogy between the Porzingis trade and when the Oklahoma City Thunder dealt James Harden to the Houston Rockets.
"It happens in the NBA," he said. "It's like the James Harden trade. Harden gets traded from OKC to the Rockets and I'm like, damn, why didn't we even get that offered to us? We weren't in the mix. Nobody was. It was one phone call and the Rockets said yes. [The Porzingis trade] was our one phone call."
Cuban provided more details of the discussion with the Knicks: "'We're willing to do this if you ever want to give him up.' ... We used to get calls on Dirk [Nowitzki], 'We'll give you A, B, C, D, E and F,' but we're not trading Dirk ever. [They said], 'Well, if you do...' In this case, [the Knicks] changed their mind."

Porzingis played the best 13 games of his basketball career not in New York during his All-Star season, but in Dallas earlier this year. From Jan. 31 to March 6, he averaged nearly 28 points with a True Shooting nearing 65 percent. (That’s about eight points over the league average.) Look, singling out 13 games is cherrypicking at its finest. It would be obnoxious to pretend otherwise. But the point I want to make is that Porzingis has played better basketball for stretches in Dallas than he ever did in New York.
