Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

Time to see who wants to get their asses whooped by Dallas!

Mixed bag, so far. Porter Jr is playing better defense than usual, but Denver isn't shooting well or going after 50/50 balls super hard.

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

Jokic doesn't bother to closeout on Conley. Interesting.

One thing those three Denver wins had in common: Murray played out of his mind. Not great so far tonight.

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

WEEEEAAAAK foul call on MPJ

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

Minnesota looking a little better early.

Murray and MPJ continuing where they left off in game six. Chucking away in the most important game of the season.

Death, taxes and KAT committing dumb fouls

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

Good GOD Jokic can pass

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

Game 7's are so rad

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - dirkfansince1998 - 05-19-2024

T'Wolves are doing a good job to take away the Nuggets off ball actions. Getting some leeway from the refs to test the quality of the Nuggets jerseys but as long as the refs aren't calling it they are in a good spot.

It’s only a 5 point lead for Denver, but it feels significant given how the game started.

Murray not being the worst player on the floor helps. Apparently he is either the worst or best. No inbetween.

Christian Braun is Josh Green without the "rookie" mistakes.

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

Stupid for Murray to foul Gobert in the post. It's not like Gobert was going to score.

Not a bad comp

Denver is trying to let the Wolves back in it with some excessive fouling. They really must enjoy dramatic series conclusions.

They have no backup big (DAJ is beyond cooked) and have to go small if they want to give Jokic some rest.

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

Dever is baiting them to give the ball to Gobert on the short roll, kind of like teams do with Dallas/Gafford.

The results have been mostly similar, too.

RE: Minnesota at Denver, GAME 7 Thread - KillerLeft - 05-19-2024

I have no earthly idea why folks prefer Denver. Aaron Gordon might be even more suited to make Luka's like miserable than Dort. Gonna have to hope Kyrie can beat KCP off the dribble.
