Figured this deserved its own thread given how Luka is usually short with interviews. First time we've ever had anything longer than 3 minutes I'm pretty sure.

Maybe the JJ trade was worth it after all!

Luka explaining how he reads the court in an iso situation. It´s not about the on ball defender. All about the paint and help defense.

Also saying if he was passing to JJ he would get assists. I’m sure he didn’t mean it as a slight to his teammates, but it kinda is.

My favorite part of this interview was Luka basically saying he never worked on stepbacks until after he put on the show vs. HOU where he brought the Mavs back down from 10.

That's crazy.

That was my favorite part as well.

Anyone else get a little excited when Luka said he loves the city of Dallas. "Dallas has everything but not too much of it"

Might be my homer goggles but it didn't feel like lip service and made me happy he likes the city. Also wasn't the first time he complimented Dallas. Said it had a very european feel once his rookie year I think.
